  10. Hello i am having this insane problem and have been having it now for TOO
  11. LONG PERIOD and noone even best hardware fixers know what is the problem.

  13. okay problem is as follows:

  15. Amiga is working fine everything works even my Merlin in Z3 mode.
  16. i have -11 buster and -8 wd scsi chip.

  18. now my machine used to work fine with ethernet NE2000 and GG busboard
  19. then it stopped working after i moved my amigas place. i thought my
  20. GG or ne2000 was wasted. Then after figuring it is a kludge anyway
  21. i bought a new Hydra Ethernet card and installed it worked fine until
  22. i tried ftp on it... or then sumtimes amitcp looses it when i type too fast :)

  24. okay thought it was a bug in hydra.device.. but nope used same card and same
  25. device on friends a4k which worked fine....

  27. then installed NetBSD1.1 on my a3k and noticed it worked 'almost fine'
  28. ftp works telnet works rlogin works but i get sum console flood from
  29. error ed0: NIC memory corrupt . Reset ed0: and then after little hangup
  30. from 1 second to 10 seconds it resumes ftp telnet what ever network 
  31. transfer i am using and all packets i ftp work fine.

  33. okay then thought with hardware manuals etc it must be with paula.
  34. bought new paula replaced it.. nogo no help problem is still there
  35. expansion slots are all getting all powers good etc everything is tested 
  36. and to work fine but still no idea why in hell does the ethernet card
  37. of GG bus card does not work. It seems all cards that require IRQ's
  38. on Z2 slots get wasted when there comes alot of requests.

  41. even the local hardware fixing shoppe didnt know the answer to this weirdo
  42. problem .

  45. as i hardly have time to read news areas and these do expire way too fast :)
